Our Installation Process for XPEL Clear Bra Protective Film

The protective clear bra film will only look as good as the paint looks before installation. Prior to installation we must clean, detail and correct the areas in which we are installing the paint protection film (PPF) so that they look as beautiful as they are ever going to look. In many cases, we detail the entire vehicle, performing a multi-stage paint correction if need be to assure a brand new look to your vehicle. Once your car looks brand new, we now move on to protecting it for the long term.
DAP Precision Cut
Upon a your vehicle arriving at the shop and deciding which package we are installing, we first run XPEL’s proprietary software to look up the make and model of your vehicle. We use XPEL’s updated directory for the exact manufacture dimensions of the film required for your vehicle. We then program the computer to cut with precision the protective film that we will install on your car. Our in-house printer produces exact pieces ready for installation.
XPEL Install: Peel, Stick and Protect
Once our in-house clear bra plotter cuts the necessary pieces, we are now ready to install the film on your car. We first will peel the pieces ready to install one-by-one and apply them on the corresponding areas. This is one of the trickiest parts. Through improper installation, the film can deform causing abnormal stretching and delamination. After the application of the clear bra, the film needs several hours to settle. After setting in, your clear bra is ready to protect your vehicle for years to come. For the ultimate package, we will then apply a Ceramic Pro package on the top of the clear bra.
